I bet you use your bathroom every single day, and perhaps it’s time for a quick bathroom declutter?
Even areas in your home that don’t look too bad can still cause a lot of stress and clutter. Knowing what you have on hand means you can also save money, keep an eye out for good deals on sale AND avoid buying duplicates you don’t need! Today I’m doing a quick declutter of my bathroom and sharing some of my minimalist organisation tips.
Bathroom declutter tips:
- Have a separate shelf or bin for the different people in your home. This keeps things organised and it makes it easy to put things back in the right place.
- Group like items together! This helps you see what you need to add to the shopping list and what you have plenty of.
- Go through and declutter things you no longer use. It’s easy to hold on to things we paid good money for, but if you don’t use or like it, consider donating it, giving it to a friend or simply chuck it in the bin.
- Declutter before you clean and organise. It’s always easier to clean when there is less inventory.
- Set yourself a use-it-up challenge before you buy new things. If you have 3 moisturisers and they are all ok for your skin, make sure to use them up before you buy new ones (even if the new one may smell amazing :-))
Sometimes you really don’t need to go full on Konmari, but simply just spend a few minutes to clean up your hot spot areas. If you’re looking for more declutter and organisation inspiration, check out this playlist!
